Venkaiah urges UN to declare Pak as terrorist State

Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting M. Venkaiah Naidu today strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Uri Army base and described it as an act of cowardice.

In a statement, Venkaiah alleged that Pakistan was aiding, funding and training terrorists as its policy. It is a rogue nation as they are not abiding by the promise they made”, Naidu told the media. He also said Pakistan was exposed at the international level and all the countries in the world should come together to condemn the heinous act of Pakistan. The Minister stated this while laying foundation stone for Advanced Night Vision Products Factory of Bharat Electronic Limited at Nimmaluru village in Andhra Pradesh.

“They want to cripple Indian Economy and they want to weaken the country as it is not acceptable at all”, he said. He added that it’s high time to declare Pakistan as a terrorist nation and urged world countries to come together to stop assistance to Pakistan. “The United Nations should take up this issue in a serious manner because terrorism is an enemy of humanity; it’s not against India alone, terrorist activities are happening in different parts of the globe. Pakistan has become an epic centre of terrorism; it’s high time that United Nations should come forward to declare Pakistan a terrorist state”. He advised member nations not to extend any help and assistance to Pakistan. He said the Govt. of India will give a fitting reply to the perpetrators of Uri terrorists attack. (NSS)
