Count-down to TRS regime has begun; We’ill ride back to power in 2019: Uttam

Stating that countdown to doomsday has begun to the TRS government, TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy exuded confidence that the Congress would return to power in 2019. He alleged that the people from all sections were not happy in the State except Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s family after the creation of Telangana State.

Speaking at Congress party training camp for ZPTCs and MPTCs and others here on Monday at KJR Gardens at Bowenpally, Secunderabad, Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao did nothing to the people except making the other parties’ leaders to join TRS by threatening them. Assuring that the Congress party’s public representatives at the training camp, Uttam said the Party would stand by their side if they face any sort of trouble from the ruling party. “We won’t forget the troubles being created by the ruling party leaders to our leaders. We will treat them in the same manner after coming to power along with interest”, he warned the TRS party leaders.

Reminding BJP national president Amit Shah’s statement at Warangal meeting that the TRS government had spent Rs 90,000 crore released by the Centre to purchase legislators of other parties, Uttam Kumar said the TRS government misused the input subsidy released by the Centre instead of releasing the same to farmers. The TRS government didn’t fulfill a single assurance made by KCR during 2014 elections, he alleged and said the farmers were facing a lot of troubles due to non-implementation of third phase of loan waiver scheme.

Govt failed to fulfil even one promisse

The TRS government failed to implement Fees Reimbursement Scheme, Arogyasree Scheme, Double Bed Room Scheme, Three acre land for SCs and other schemes properly. He alleged that no other government except TRS government indulged in such a huge corruption in independent India. The Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakathiya schemes were filled with corruption, he alleged.      The TRS government was not making payments of the farm laborer, he alleged saying that the KCR government was only giving funds to contractors of the Water Grid and Irrigation projects.

Explaining about irrigation projects in the State, Uttam alleged that the projects were bogus and the TRS government was distorting the history. Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao hurriedly inaugurated the projects which were already inaugurated during the previous Congress government in Mahbubnagar district reacting to Congress party’s counter power point presentation.

Making it clear that the Congress party will extend its cooperation, he warned the TRS government that the Congress party will not keep quiet if the KCR government indulges in falsehood campaign on irrigation projects. “The Congress party will not tolerate if the TRS government tries to loot the public money in the name of projects”, he warned and said that the TRS government was troubling the farmers by bringing G.O.No.123 instead of implementing Land Acquisition Act-2013 at Mallannasagar Reservoir project

Refuting the TRS leaders’ allegations on Congress party leaders in regard to Pulichintala project, Uttam said that the Congress party leaders would feel happy if the TRS government does half of the R&R did at Pulichintala project. He said the Congress government constructed model village for the sake of Pulichintala land oustees and 27,000 acres of land irrigated in Telangana with Pulichintala waters along with generation of 130 MW power.

Stating that the TRS government has love towards contractors than farmers, the TPCC president said that the revenue of the farmers came down half of their total in TRS regime. The government was spending Rs.1.5 lakh crore for mere 13 lakh new ayacut with the proposed projects, he asserted. (NSS)
