Hyderabad: Bajrang Dal activists warned pub and restaurant owners against celebrating Valentine’s Day on 14th February. They also threatened that they will protest if the owners failed to obey their diktat.
According to the report published in New Indian Express, Bajrang Dal has asked schools and colleges to prevent their children from celebrating Valentine’s Day.
Bajrang Dal media convenor, Kailash Sajjan said that they will burn effigies of Saint Valentine at various places in the city.
On the other hand, pub owners rejected Bajrang Dal’s demand. They also increased their security by hiring more number of bouncers.
It may be mentioned that Valentine’s Day is one of the big events for pub owners after New Year’s Eve. In the event, DJs from Mumbai, Delhi are invited in many pubs in Hyderabad.
