US offers help to Pak with insistence to end hobnobbing with militants

Washington, December 01: President Barack Obama has offered Pakistan an expanded strategic partnership, including additional military and economic cooperation, insisting on Islamabad to abandon hobnobbing with militants and to take steps to reduce tensions with India, says a US daily.

‘The Washington Post’ said the offer was contained in a two-page letter delivered to President Asif Ali Zardari early this month by Obama’s national security adviser James L Jones.
