Hyderabad: Examinations for the recruitment of 6 posts of Urdu Officers Grade I and 60 posts of Urdu Officers Grade II are being held on Sunday 20th May at 5 different centers in the city.
Dept. of Minorities Welfare is conducting these examinations in collaboration with JNTU Hyderabad. In all, 5496 candidates are taking these examinations. For Grade I, there are 978 applicants whereas for Grade II, there are 4518 applicants. The examination for Grade II will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. whereas the examination for Grade I will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. today.
Such of the candidates who are writing both the examinations have been allotted the center Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kukatpally whereas the candidates who are writing only Urdu Officers Grade II examination have been allotted to Nizam College, Basheerbagh, Malla Reddy Institute of Engineering and Technology, Maisammaguda, Secunderabad, VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Bachupally, Nizampet, MLR Institute of Technology, Laxman Reddy Avenue, Dundigal.
Director of Minorities Welfare, Mr. Shahnawaz Qasim, IPS will be incharge of Nizam College, Mr. B. Shafiullah, IFS will be incharge of Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mr. Mohammed Abdul Waheed, IFS will be incharge of MLR Institute of Technology, Mr. Bala Subramanyam will be incharge of VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology and Ms. KG Prabha will be incharge of Malla Reddy Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Prof. SA Shukoor will inspect all the centers. JNTU will declare the results of these examinations within a month.
