Minority Welfare Department is planning to hand over the job of publishing Urdu Medium syllabus books from Intermediate to Post Graduation to Urdu Academy. Representation was made with the government asking it to hand over the job of publishing Urdu medium syllabus books to Urdu Academy instead of Telugu Academy so that availability of syllabus books in time is ensured.
Special Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel after consultation with Secretary Director Urdu Academy Prof. S A Shukoor sent the proposal to the government in this regard. It must be noted that the work of publishing the syllabus books from 1st to 10th class is done by State Council for Education and Training while Urdu Medium Syllabus books from Inter to PG are published by Telugu Academy.
