Islam is an eternal religion of mankind and its basic rules and principles are unchangeable being applicable to all times, regions and in all spheres of life. There is a need to impart Islamic education to the present generation and this should be done through all the educational institutions,- stated Moulana Mohammed Salman Nadvi.
He was addressing the concluding programme of the International Education Convention at the Jamia Islamia campus. He stated Islam is not limited to a particular community, society or culture; it embraces all aspects of life: individual, social, material, spiritual, doctrinal, emotional, economic, legal and so forth, and it explains the basis of each in the most realistic manner for all peoples, in every time and place.
He asserted that understanding Islam has become very easy in the present time. Time and again the scientific revelations have proved that the Quran is the word of the creator and its teachings are relevant for all ages, diminishing the gap between the creator and the human being. He informed that information in the present day is available in tiny microchips, making it easy to spread all kinds of Islamic Knowledge.
Moulana Syed Salman Nadvi released the special issue of *Aaj Ka Inquilab*, which was later distributed to the audience.
Moulana Abdulla Hasani claimed that upcoming English medium schools across the country are trying to wipe out the moral values and are instilling superiority and arrogance among the students, consequently leading to their negative growth. He affirmed that their lifestyle, clothing and food habits are drastically changing and Muslim parents should save their children from such evil.
The programme began with the recitation of Quran by Hafiz Mohammed Musaddique Hallare and was followed by an invocation by Arafat Kantangri and the Jamia anthem by the students of Jamia. Principal of Jamia Islamia, Bhatkal, Moulana Abdul Bari Nadvi greeted the guests and Mohammed Shafee Shabandari presented the introduction of Jamia Islamia, Bhatkal. The programme was hosted by Moulana Mohammed Ansar Madani and Moulana Abdur Rab Nadvi. The program concluded with the thanksgiving speech by Moulana Maqbool Kobatte Nadvi and Dua by Moulana Abdullah Hussain.
The dignitaries, who were present on the occasion were Moulana Mohammed Iqbal Mulla Nadvi, Qazi of Jamatul Muslimeen, Bhatkal; Moulana Khwaja Mueenuddin Nadvi Madani, Qazi Of Markazi Khaleefa Jamatul Muslimeen, Bhatkal; Mr. SM Syed Khalilur Rahman, Chairman of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal; Abdur Rahman Jan Mohtesham, President of Jamatul Muslimeen, Bhatkal; SM Syed Hassan Saqqaf, President of Markazi Khaleefa Jamatul Muslimeen Bhatkal; Khaleefa Abdul Ghafoor, general secretary of Rabita Society Bhatkal; Moulana Abdul Mateen Muniri; Khaleelur Rahman Muniri; Moulana Abdul Aleem Quasimi and others.
The programme was telecasted LIVE on Amogh channel with the help SahilOnline. The programme will be re-telecasted as a series on ETv Urdu on 30th of March and 6th of April at 11.30 pm. The convention will continue for women on 24th and 25th of March.
