Mumbai, December 11: A sheikh who is a great fan of Dilip Kumar who had presented him with a Mercedes Benz car twice has decided to give Dilip Kumar a very unique gift for his 88th birthday. This great fan is now willing to bear all the expenses to see the release of two Dilip Kumar’s films which are lying in the cans for years.
‘Kalinga’ is the first film directed by the legend himself, was completed almost 18 years ago but has not been released because of the disputes between the producer and the thespian who never knew about the producer’s background before agreeing to direct the film for him.
The second film, ‘Aag Ka Darya’ completed 20 years ago with the legend, staring Rekha, Amrish Puri, Padmini Kolhapure and Rajeev Kapoor (youngest son of Raj Kapoor) in key role. Details are being work out by the admirers of the actor to see the release of both these two films.
