Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali has said the Unani system of medicine was one of the oldest and time-tested systems was losing its patronage due to lack of awareness and a lot of myths being propagated against this unique, cost effective system, which does not have any side-effects.
After releasing a brochure of Hyderabad Unani Research Foundation (HURF) at his residence in Ministers Quarters here on Monday, the Deputy Chief Minister congratulated the members for forming the organization, which aims for uplift and propagation of Unani System of Medicine. He assured all possible support from the Telangana government in the efforts of HURF in the revival of the past glory of Unani System of Medicine in the larger interests of every individual in the state.
On the occasion, HURF Chief Patron Dr Mohammed Ali Rafath, Chairman Dr Md Ataullah Shareef, and other members of Hyderabad Unani Research Foundation were present. (NSS)
