Mumbai: Two persons were today arrested from Bandra here in connection with A dacoity-cum-murder case at a bank near Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh earlier this year, police said.
The accused were identified as Kumarswami Prajapati (22) and Asagar Ali (34).
“Early this year both the accused had committed a dacoity at a State Bank of India (SBI) branch in Chinhat near Lucknow along with four others and also shot dead a security guard,” police said.
They had decamped with Rs 80,000 and a case had been registered in Chinhat police station.
“The duo was arrested from Shastrinagar behind a bus depot in Bandra (West) at around 4.20 PM,” police added.
A 12-bore single shot katta (country-made weapon) and eight live rounds were recovered from them, police said.
