New Delhi, May 11: Two Class XII girl students were attacked with a razor by an unidentified man this afternoon when they resisted his robbery attempt near a photostat shop outside their school in Chanakyapuri here, police said.
The girls, students of Carmel Convent School, had come out of their school to get some study material photocopied when they were attacked.
“They had a Rs 500 note in their hand and a man tried to snatch it. When they resisted, the man attacked them with a razor and in the process one girl got a cut in the hand,” a senior police officer said.
Police said they have registered a case and efforts are on to trace the attacker who fled from the scene.
