TRS will take VRS in Medak bypoll: BJP

BJP leader and Uppal MLA NVVS Prabhakar here on Sunday observed that the ruling TRS party would definitely take “voluntary retirement” in the ensuing Medak Lok Sabha by-election as it could not fulfil even a single election promise though it took office three months ago.

Speaking to the media at the State party office, Prabhakar said they would expose the KCR government’s failures during the electioneering in Medak. Stating that law and order was deteriorating and crime against women was increasing day after day after the TRS government assumed office in the newly formed Telangana State, the BJP leader questioned Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao whether he was dreaming this type of worse situation in his so-called Bangaru Telangana.

The BJP leader alleged that distressed farmers were resorting to suicide in one or another State every day. He also took serious exception to the Chief Minister KCR failing to console the victims of Masaipet incident so far. He also asked the TRS leaders whether they are ready for a debate on demolition of houses in Ayyappa Society in high-tech city of Madapur and regularisation of services of the contract employees.
He further said the TRS leaders were making allegations on its candidate Jagga Reddy as they are scared that their candidate might reveal the true colours of Chandrasekhar Rao, How the TRS leaders would seek the support of CPM, which opposed formation of Telangana State. (NSS)
