Hyderabad: Labour Minister Chamakura Malla Reddy today said the TRS would bag 16 Lok Sabha seats out of 17 in the State. Hyderabad and Secunderabad segments have their say in national politics, he said.
Participating at an extended meeting of the TRS Parliamentary party at Malkajgiri segment in Secunderabad here, the minister opined that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will play a crucial role in Delhi by winning the 16 MP seats. He discussed in the meeting with the leaders about the preparatory meeting for LS polls in the segment. Malla Reddy said the people are with the ruling party and will support further in the upcoming LS Polls.
The TRS Government has launched several schemes of welfare, development programs, flagship and irrigation projects, he said, adding that the entire country was looking at Telangana State for such historic schemes and replicating them. He also urged the party workers and leaders to turn up in large numbers to the first LS poll preparatory meeting in Karimnnagar on March 6. TRS working president and former minister KT Rama Rao will be addressing the program, he informed. “Let us attend in large numbers and make the meet a success”, he said.
