TRS threatens to launch non-cooperation movement

Hyderabad, January 29: Asserting that a separate state alone is acceptable to people of Telangana region, TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao said a’non cooperation movement’will be launched as part of the ongoing agitation to achieve statehood.

“Separate Telangana is the only solution to all our problems. We will not accept anything else,”Rao said, addressing a gathering of commercial taxes department employees, who were holding a relay fast here in support of the demand for a separate Telangana.

Maintaining that he is not silent on the separate statehood agitation, he said the struggle should move”strategically”, without a hurry, till the goal is achieved.

“A total non-cooperation movement”that would surprise the world will be launched for achieving Telangana and the employees of all government departments should take part in it, he said.

Training his guns on Telangana Congress and TDP leaders yet again, the TRS president claimed that their unwillingness to resign from their posts is delaying the formation of separate Telangana.
