TRS MP blames Centre for delay in HC bifurcation

TRS MP Vinod Kumar on Sunday accused the BJP-led NDA Government of causing deliberate delay in bifurcation of High Court.

Addressing a press conference here, Vinod Kumar said that the High Court should have been divided immediately after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. However, the Centre delayed the process and kept the issue pending. He said that the TRS would continue to pressurise the Centre till High Court is bifurcated.

Responding to the reaction of TDP leader over Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s call for fresh polls, he said if KCR really dissolves the Assembly, then the TDP would not be able to win a single seat in Telangana State. He said seeking fresh mandate was not new for KCR or TRS. He reminded that a senior Congress leader M Satyanarayana Rao had challenged KCR to resign and face by-elections. KCR had not only accepted the challenge, but won with a thumping majority.

Vinod Kumar claimed that the opposition leaders were unable to digest the fact that TRS has performed exceedingly well during the last one year. Therefore, they have been leveling several baseless allegations to defame the ruling party and the Chief Minister. He said that the TRS Government has proved several apprehensions wrong which were linked to formation of Telangana State. (INN)
