BJP accuses TRS of doing low-level politics

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday accused the Telangana Rashtra Samithi of indulging in low-level politics just to win an additional MLC seat.

Speaking to media persons here, BJP floor leader in Assembly Dr K Lakshman alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has triggered the number game for MLC elections only to weaken the opposition parties. He said KCR’s behaviour was a big blot on democracy. He alleged that the Chief Minister has stooped down to a very low level to establish his supremacy.

Lakshman said that the TDP-BJP combine has sufficient numbers to win the MLC elections. He said all six MLAs of BJP would support the TDP candidate in the MLC polls being held on Monday. (INN)
