TRS MLAs poser to Revanth on Metro rail land row

TRS leader J Krishna Rao today condemned the remarks made by Telugu Desam leader Revanth Reddy against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao with regard to land related to Metro Rail Project.

Talking to press persons here, the former minister alleged that the Telugu Desam Party is making deliberate attempts to damage the image of the chief minister. ‘We are ready to face an open inquiry with the TDP in this regard’ he said. He also challenged the TDP leader to prove his allegations if he has any guts. Let the facts come out through an inquiry and if the date is set we will face it, he maintained. The TDP leader is trying to malign the TRS Government for false prestige, he said.

Revanth should talk decently and help development of Mahabubnagar district if he can with constructive suggestions. The TDP leader cannot enjoy the support of the people of Palamur if he continues to adopt such useless tactics. His meaningless allegations are belittling the image of the state as well as causing heavy damage to the district, he observed.

The former minister also found fault with the Congress leader K Jana Reddy for seeking an all party meeting on the same issue. Metro Rail authorities and L&T have made it clear that the land is with them and was not given or transferred to any others. Despite this, the opposition parties are making a hue and cry just for political mileage, Krishna Rao charged.

TRS MLAs Lakshma Reddy and Balaraju also blasted TDP MLA Revanth Reddy for his behavior towards Telangana government.
They said that “Revanth Reddy is trying to mislead all by telling lies. Can Revanth Reddy come for an open debate on Hyderabad metro rail project”, they asked.

The MLAs said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu was trying to shift L&T from Hyderabad metro rail project to the same kind of project in Andhra Pradesh.

“Are TDP leaders ready for an open debate on the land allotments made by Chandrababu when he was the caretaker chief minister of Andhra Pradesh,” asked the MLAs. (NSS)
