Alleging that several TRS leaders have been transformed into Nayeems, Congress MLC Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy has demanded that the State government order a CBI inquiry into the slain gangster Nayeemuddin’s case as there was no progress in the case yet.
Speaking to the media here today, Rajagopal Reddy said, “The TRS government killed one Nayeem, but produced hundreds of Nayeems.” He also alleged that the SIT was dealing with the Nayeem’s case for name sake. He also alleged that the TRS government was not initiating any action against the TRS leaders in relation to Nayeem’s case fearing loss of party’s image. Demanding that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to explain what happened to thousands of crores worth Nayeem’s assets, Rajgopal Reddy pointed out that the State government has not yet punished the benamis of the dreaded gangster. He said Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy was confined to inaugurations and the ministers in the TRS government were continuing as dummies in their positions. The Congress MLC made it clear that the Congress party would launch a movement till the government renders justice to the victims of Nayeemuddin. (NSS)
