TRS govt failed to solve problems of farmers: Ravula

The condition of farmers in the state is very apathetic as the TRS government failed to mitigate their problems, Telangana TDP polit bureau member Ravula Chadrasekhar Reddy today said.

Speaking to media at NTR trust bhavan here he said the farmers are unable to get back any benefit from their produces when they have invested thousands of rupees for harvesting. When crop was yielding, it was infested with “ Doma Kaatu” damaging paddy crops and as a result the farmers not even getting back their investment, the TDP leader expressed concern.

He said approximately 10 lakh paddy crop.was infested with doma kaatu in the state and farmers tried to spray anti doma kaatu , but could not save their crops. In the such situation, the TRS government is not coming forward to help the farmers at least to get back their investment.

The government is not coming forward to help the farmers as they are facing severe problems because their crop was damaged when it was at final stage of yielding, Ravula said. He also accused the state government of not buying cotton leaving cotton growers in lurk. (NSS)
