TRS contestant exposes Konda for wooing him

Hyderabad: Ahead of the poll results to be declared on Tuesday, the Congress-led alliance began wooing the ruling party leaders and reportedly seeking support for it to form the government, the TRS leadership charged. Sensing defeat in the Assembly polls, the Congress-led Kutami was trying to bargain with the ruling party and others, Nagarkurnool MLA candidate Marri Janardhan Reddy today said. He charged MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, who recently defected to the Congress, with seeking his support to the Kutami to form the Praja Front government.

Talking to mediapersons at Telangana Bhavan here today, Marri Janardhan Reddy said MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy rang him up and sought his support to the Kutami enabling it to form the government. “Konda Visweshwar Reddy called me twice and invited me to hold talks at senior leader K Jana Reddy’s residence at Banjara Hills”, Janardhan Reddy said.

“I suggested to Visweshwar Reddy to avoid getting influenced by TD Chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and come out of the Kutami tactics. The Kutami was trying to influence the ruling party leaders, who will win the polls”, he said. The TRS leader also clarified that such calls will not lure them as “we are all the ardent army of KCR.
