Traders of weapons are the greatest terrorists: Jamat-e-Islami

Hyderabad: Eid Milap function was organized at Kareem Nagar. It was presided over by Mr. Hamid Mohammed Khan, Ameer of Jamat-e-Islami of Telangana and Odisha. It was attended by Mr. Santosh Kumar, MLC, Mr. P. Sugunakar Rao, BJP leader, Mr. Mohammed Arif Ahmed, TRS Floor Leader of Municipality, Mr. Abdur Raqueeb Hamid Lateefi, Secretary of Jamat-e-Islami, Mr. Abdul Hai Shoaib Lateefi, Mr. Lakshmi Narasimha, Mr. Anand Rao, Mr. Syed Mohiuddin (Correspondent, Siasat), Mr. Mohammed Abdus Samad and others.

 

In his presidential speech, Mr. Hamid Mohammed Khan told that Muslims exchange the words “Salamti” and “Barkat”. These are the words which depicts peace and security. The word “Barkat” occurred 32 times in the Quran. When a human being embraces the other man, all the feelings of hatred vanish. The purpose of organizing Eid Milap functions is to inculcate the feelings of national integration. In this gather there are people from different ideologies but no one suggests for discarding Muslim personal law. It is a foregone conclusion to impose Uniform Civil Code. We cannot form uniform agricultural policy since the environment, soil, geographical conditions are different for growing wheat, Rice or cotton crops. There is no uniformity in geographical conditions. In India, there are people professing various religions. Their ways of worship are different. These cannot be changed.

 

Mr. Hamid Mohammed Khan told that the bomb which was blastin Madina is on 150 crore Muslims of the world which should be condemended. In Madinah, our Prophet is resting. Islam is the religion of peace and tranquility.

 

He also said that the countries which sell weapons are the greatest terriosts who declared that ISIS, Mr. Abu Baker Bughdadi are not following the Islamic principles. They are misleading the people.

 

Mr. Anwar Khan highlighted the significance of fasting during Ramazan. Mr. Sugunakar Rao, Mr. Santosh Kumar and Mr. Lakshmi Narasimha Rao also addressed the gathering and applauded the services rendered by Jamat-e-Islami.

 

At the end of the meeting, Telugu translation of the Quran was presented to non-Muslim guests. Mr. Abdul wahid conducted the meeting.
