TPCC protest programs against PM’s note-ban from tomorrow: Uttam

TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy today alleged that the economic condition of the people remained totally disturbed due to maladroit decision of demonetization of big notes by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

           

Speaking at the TPCC extended meeting at Gandhi Bhavan here on Saturday, Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that Prime Minister Modi has utterly failed and called upon the party cadre to go to the people and campaign aggressively against the demonetization of big notes. He said the party would conduct special meetings in district headquarters on January 2 and asked the cadre to explain about the problems being faced by the people due demonetization of big notes in the meeting.

The TPCC chief said the party cadre would stage dharnas on January 5, 6 and 7 at the district Collectorates. On January 9, there would be protest programs by Mahila Congress activists. He said the AICC would organize a huge public meeting on January 11 at New Delhi on the burning issue and called upon the party cadre to attend in large numbers.

AICC South India in-charge on the movement on demonetization of big notes and Karnataka Minister Shiva Kumar said party vice-president Rahul Gandhi is likely to visit Telangana State as part of nation-wide movement against the demonetization of big notes. AICC observer K B Krishna Murthy, party leaders Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Kunduru Jana Reddy, Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Ponnala Laxmaiah, V Hanumantha Rao, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, SA Sampath Kumar, P.
