Hyderabad: Govt. of Telangana has decided to honour prominent women on the occasion of International Women’s Day falling on 8th March. The ladies who actively participated in Telangana Movement would be selected for this honour.
A three member committee consisting of Ms. K. Kavita, MP of Nizamabad, Dy. Speaker of Assembly, Ms. Padma Devender Reddy and Ms. T. Uma, Chairperson of ZP Kareem Nagar and president of TRS Ladies Wing.
This committee would suggest the names of active women for honoring them today. This was instructed by Mr. KCR.
