Terrorist threat in Hyderabad, Six suspects arrested

The Hyderabad police detained six suspects, who were living illegally in Old City here on Friday. The police nabbed six suspects during intense checking in Old City in the wake of information from intelligence wing.

The police identified the suspects as Mohammed Nasir (Bangladesh), Masoor Ali Khan (Chanchalguda), Shahen Parvez (Balapur), Faizal Mahamood (Bangladesh), Mahmad Osman (Bangladesh) and Riyabul Rehman (Dabirpura).

Speaking on the occasion, City Police Commissioner Mahender Reddy said the suspects have no direct links with the Huzi organisation. He made it clear that the six suspects played a role in making Dilsukhnagar bomb blast culprit Vakas to cross the border. The suspects were trying to go to Gulf by getting wrong certificates. He said the police were also concentrating on the persons cooperating with these suspects. The Commissioner said the police were interrogating the suspects at a secret place. (NSS)
