Relentless Revanth Reddy does it again!

Telugu Desam MLA from Kodangal A. Revanth Reddy, who is the main accused in the Cash-for-Vote episode, has declared that his relentless struggle against Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao would continue till the TRS chief is dislodged from power.


Speaking to the media after attending the ACB Special Court along with other accused in the case — Uday Simha and Sebastian, Revanth Reddy stoutly refuted speculations that he would bid an adieu to TDP. “I would continue to remain with the TDP till the end and would win for another 25 years as TDP nominee from Kodangal Assembly constituency.

The ACB, which was investigating the “cash-for-vote” scandal, had submitted a supplementary charge-sheet against the accused based on which they had appeared before the court. Revanth Redy and other accused might appear before the ACB for further inquiry if summons were issued. The court told the accused that they need not appear before the court till summons were served on them.

            Interacting with mediapersons at the court, Revanth Reddy said his fight against the TRS would continue till KCR was dislodged from power. He accused the TRS government and KCR of trying to falsely implicate him in the case. He would expose all the misdeeds of the TRS Government and KCR in the next Assembly session. Revanth Reddy also made a scathing attack against the Telangana Legislature Secretary Raja Sadaram and accused him of behaving like a TRS worker. Stating that Sadaram’s appointment was illegal and unconstitutional, he would soon drag the matter to the court, he added.

Meanwhile, YSR Congress Party president and Leader of the Opposition in the AP Assembly Y S Jaganmohan Reddy along with Vijayasai Reddy also attend the court in connection with the Disproportionate Assets case filed by the Enforcement Directorate. The case was adjourned to August 24. (NSS)
