‘Tere Bin Laden’ release postponed in US

New Delhi, July 09: The US release of ‘Tere Bin Laden?, a satire on the great American dream and the post 9/11 world, has been postponed for a later date.

The film is slated to hit theatres in India on July 16. It will also see a simultaneous release in Pakistan.

“We are releasing the film in India, Pakistan, Dubai, Australia, UK and other Asian markets but not in the US right now. US is a very important market for us. We first want to see the response. We will release the film in the second phase,” Sharma, who has written and directed the film, told PTI.

Incidentally, US is a very important part of the narrative, which revolves around an ambitious TV reporter, desperate to migrate to America, uses a fake Osama Bin Laden tape to get a visa.
