Demanding immediate resolution of their grievances, the employees of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) have threatened to go on strike from June 23.
The employees JAC, which comprises of seven different unions, demanded release of bonds issued to employees from 2012 to 2014. Further, the JAC demanded the payment of DA arrears since January 2016. The JAC leaders said that several representations have been made with the management on their demands. However, the management failed to take action.
The JAC leaders said that the State Government failed to pay the salaries for strike period during Telangana movement. They said a strike notice was already served to the management on 16th May and therefore, the RTC staff would go on strike from 23rd June.(INN)
