Telangana medical council soon: KCR

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today said Telangana Medical Council will come up soon. He also stated that Kaloji Health University will be set up as per the decision taken by the TRS Government. The works relating to Health University have already begun and the process is being expedited, the CM noted.

A delegation of Indian Medical Association and Government Doctors Association today called on the Chief Minister at Secretariat here. The government is committed to set up the medical council and established health varsity. He appealed to the Government Doctors in Warangal to cooperate for the health varsity and ensure better health services to the poor.

The aim of the government is to provide affordable medical services to the poor and deprived classes, he said and asked the medical fraternity to come forward to extend a helping hand to reach the goal. Those who met the CM include Deputy Chief Minister Dr T Rajaiah, Doctors P Vijayachander Reddy, Sudhakar Reddy, Pramila and others. (NSS)
