Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today reviewed Saddula Bathukamma, a floral State level festival to be conducted at Tank Bund on October 2.
Informed sources said Governor ESL Narasimhan will inaugurate the event along with Chief Minister, Governor’s wife Vimala Narasimhan and other prominent women will attend the program to be held in a grand manner.
The CM asked the officials concerned to make fool proof arrangements for the event to be remembered the days to come. The Program will begin from LB Stadium in a rally and culminate at the Tank Bund program. Laser shows, burning of crackers, dances by Telangana cultural troops are all set to woo the people at the do.
While the premises of Secretariat, Tank Bund and NTR Marg were illuminated with colorful lights and enticing Bathukamma replicas along the stretches, people of all walks of life who thronged the tourist spots are vying to take selfies before Bathukamma models. The police department geared up for the event with adequate number of CC cameras and force to make the event peaceful. (NSS)
