Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today declared that the TRS Government would observe noted poet Kaloji Narayana Rao’s birth anniversary celebrations as Telangana Language Day across the State.
According to the information, the Chief Minister said Kaloji was noted as peoples’ poet and the government would offer him a suitable tribute. The TRS government would conduct awareness programs on Telangana language across the State in a big way to mark Kaloji Birth Anniversary celebrations. KCR also stated that the government would also felicitate well-known personalities with Kaloji awards, who strove for the language and literacy development on the occasion. The Chief Minister also declared that they would conduct debates, essay-writing competitions and lectures on the Telangana language and development among the students in the schools. (NSS)
