Telangana Chief Secretary Dr. Rajiv Sharma on Thursday reviewed the process of regularisation of services of contract employees in the State. Senior officials off several departments were also present in the meeting.
The Chief Secretary said that the verification process has been completed for the contract employees who have submitted their relevant documents. He said orders would be issued to regularise their services. However, he said that the State Government was yet to receive details of several contract workers and their regularisation was getting delayed due to want of information.
Dr. Sharma said that the State Government could regularise the services of nearly 4-5,000 contract workers on immediate basis. He asked the officials to expedite the process of verification of other contract employees. (INN)
