Telangana Employees JAC met C.M

A delegation of Telangana Employees Joint Action Committee met C.M. under the leadership of Mr. Swamy Goud, President and Devi Prasad Vice-president and others. The leaders presented a memorandum to the C.M. in which a plea was made for withdrawal of cases against Telangana employees, implementation of pay revision commission report, filling up of vacant posts and to solve the problems of the retired employees.

Mr. Swamy Goud alleged that the Govt. has neglected the issues of the employees. He said that the state employees should have been governed under 12th pay commission report but they are being governed still under 9th pay commission report which is causing a loss to state employees. Govt. had promised to issue health cards two years ago but this scheme has not yet been finalized. He demanded the Govt to issue health cards to retired employees also
Preferring to the Telangana agitation and employees strike, Mr. Goud said that Govt. had given an assurance that all the cases against Telangana employees would be withdrawn but this has not been done so far. He pointed out that more than two lakh employees are working on temporary basis. He demanded to make them permanent. He also demanded to regularize the services of contract employees. He told that the retired employees are also worried about their problems. Govt has been making promises but it is not solving the problems.

Mr. Devi Prasad, Vice president of Joint Action Committee told that the agitation programme will be finalized in the next meeting of the Standing Council of the Telangana Employees Joint Action Committee. This has also been intimated to the Chief Secretary of the State.
