Hyderabad: It sounds to be a relief for people who suffer kidney failure and come under thousands of debt, 39 state-run health care institutions in all districts of the State will start providing free dialysis facilities in next few months.
The healthcare institutions will be equipped with as many as 268 dialysis machines along with reverse osmosis plants, to provide treated water needed for the dialysis process, as per a report by Telangana Today.
A German company D Med will be managing dialysis centre for a period of five years. The dialysis centres will be operated on Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) model and authorities. The State government will incur an expenditure of Rs 1,375 towards a single dialysis session.
Some of the centres where dialysis centres are proposed to set up include Mancherial, Adilabad, Nirmal, Utnoor, Sircilla, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Godavarikhani, Siddipet, Zaheerabad, Medak Sangareddy, Eturunagaram, Mahabubabad, Jangaon, Narsampet, Warangal, Kothagudem, Sattinpalli, Bhadrachalam, Miryalguda, Huzoornagar, Suryapet, Nalgonda, Vikarabad, Maheshwaram,Vanasthalipuram, Tandur, Malakpet in Hyderabad, Bodhan, Banswaada, Kamareddy, Gadwal, Nagarkurnool and Vanaparti.
