New Delhi: Dead bodies of two teenagers- a girl and a boy – were recovered on Friday hanging inside a hotel room in Dwarka Sector 17.
The two had checked into the hotel on Thursday and booked a room till Friday. But when both of them failed to check out till Friday. Hotel staff knocked the room at noon but did not get an answer. They again knocked at 3 pm and failed to have an answer.
At this time, hotel authorities informed the Delhi police and when they reached the hotel, they broke the door open and found the dead bodies hanging from the ceiling fan at 4 pm, reports India Today.
The initial investigation points to suicide, but no suicide note has been yet recovered from the room. The boy and the girl are believed to be about 18 or 19 years old. Delhi Police speculated, the boy younger to the girl.
Police have identified them as Delhi residents who had left their houses informing their parents. The boy had told that he was going to attend his tuition class. However, the probe is on.
