Lalitpur, February 27: A teenaged girl, apparently under pressure due to studies, committed suicide by hanging herself in Gandhinagar locality under Kotwali police area of this Uttar Pradesh district last night.
Shikha Vaidya(17), student of Government Girls Inter College(GGIC) here, had appeared in class 10 practical examination yesterday. Her body was found hanging in her room this morning.
Her father Alakh Niranjan is a vendor in railways.
The body of the deceased was sent for post-mortem.
