TEC plans stir from Jan 1

Telangana Employees’ Confederation (TEC) is planning to conduct its second phase of protests for its demands, including bifurcation of officials and memorandum of understanding with private hospitals on offering cashless medical services to the employees based on health cards.
In a pressnote here on Sunday, TEC chairman E Venkatesam said the protest program will be taken up from January 1, 2015. The TEC conducted a meeting at Haj House attended by 30 service organizations. In the meeting, it discussed at length on their just demands and decided to intensify agitations if the government failed to respond. TEC will tour the districts in December to form department level forums, committees and units to mount pressure at all levels.
Their demands include bifurcation of officials and cashless treatment in all private hospitals, lift ban on promotions and transfers, immediate shifting of employees to their home states at district, zonal and local levels, notification to fill up vacant posts, enhancement of retirement age to 60 years, merger of Telangana increment in basic pay with all allowances, sanction of Telangana incentive to pensioners and sanction of government pension scheme to the employees working in SC, ST, BC, Minority and Women Development Corporations.
