Hyderabad: Urdu is an Indian language. The sweetness of Urdu can’t be found in any other language. It also contains our culture and civilization. It is our cultural heritage. Our ancestors have worked very hard to sustain it right from Freedom struggle of India. It is our responsibility to come forward to protect it.
These thoughts were expressed by Mr. SM Khan, Director of Registrar of Newspapers of India while addressing a gathering organized by Urdu Mass Society for Peace in Hyderabad.
Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed Fardeen, President of the society welcomed the guest. Present on this occasion were Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Director of Urdu Academy, Mr. Syed Fazil Hussain Parvez, Editor of “Gawah” Urdu weekly and others. Mr. Khan stressed the need to teach Urdu to our children.
