Hyderabad: The two-day Bonal Festival stated in the city yesterday. South Zone Police marched along with Rapid Action Force marched in various localities of old city of Hyderabad. 3000 policemen have been deployed to make arrangements. Addl Commissioner of Police (Crimes) Ms. Swati Lakra is supervising the arrangements.
Central Procession of Bonal will start at 4 pm today from Akkanna Madanna Temple in old city. It will reach at Nayapul in the night passing through various localities. Police have installed more than 300 CCTV cameras at many places to monitor the procession. 20 SHE teams have also been deployed since a large number of women will participate in Bonal procession.
Flag march was arranged in old city yesterday under the supervision of Mr. V. Satyanarayana, DCP South Zone, Hyderabad City Police.
