Hyderabad, January 06: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Politburo member and Telangana forum convenor Nagam Janardhan Reddy said the party’s legislators, MPs and senior leaders from Telangana region would sit together here for two-days and analyse the Srikrishna Report after it is being made public today at an all-party meeting convened by Home Minister P Chidambaram Talking to UNI here , he said ”we will examine the report after it is made public as well as the stand taken by the centre ”.
He said after studying the report, TDP’s Telangana region legislators and leaders would decide their future course of action.
Asked whether any immediate step would be taken if the report goes against creation of separate Telangana state, the Senior TDP leader shot back ”wait till the contents of the report are thoroughly studied.” Mr Reddy said the representatives elected from Telangana region will demand the UPA government at the Centre to respect the sentiments of the Telangana people struggling for ”self-respect and self-rule”.
