Hyderabad, March 27: Telugu Desam MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy has said that his party legislators from Telangana would take up with Deputy Speaker the need for a motion of breach of privilege against the Srikrishna committee for its objectionable observation in the eighth chapter.
The committee indirectly recommended management of political parties, Mr. Reddy said at a round table conference organised by Telangana Journalists Forum to discuss the chapter. He added that the committee looked at political parties as commodities available in shanties while making the recommendation. He warned that no party was in a position to influence voters in Telangana without addressing the issue of statehood.
