Hyderabad, March 09: The Telugu Desam Party has decided to strongly counter the verbal attack on its leader N Chandrababu Naidu by the Telangana Rashtra Samiti and the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee.
The Telangana leaders of TDP, however, have not taken a decision yet on quitting the JAC though there was speculation that they would walk out in protest against the JAC convenor M Kodandaram’s diatribe against Chandrababu.
The Telangana TDP leaders had a meeting with Chandrababu Naidu after the Assembly was adjourned for the day today and strongly denounced the JAC’s criticism of their chief, particularly after the incident involving a group of lawyers and TDP workers here last week.
