Hyderabad, October 22: Telugu Desam party leaders B Rajasekhara Reddy and V Ramaiah demanded the Government to release list of flood victims in all the five districts particularly Kurnool district.
They alleged that the district officials have been including only Congress supporters in the beneficiaries list.
Speaking to reporters here today, the TDP leaders said that because of the attitude of the officials one of the flood victims Sukanna, a native of Singaraju Palle in Kothapal ly Mandal of Kurnool district, committed suicide by consuming pesticide.
Sukanna’s famlly lost every thing in the recent floods but officials have refused to identify him as the flood victim which drove him to commit suicide. Thought the deceased battled for life for seven days in the hospital but the officials did not respond, the TDP leaders told reporters.
