TDP apprehends President’s rule in Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad, December 29: The Telugu Desam Party has sought a clarification from Chief Minister K Rosaiah on whether or not his government existed as the pro-active role being taken by new Governor E S L Narasimhan was raising doubts over imposition of President’s rule in Andhra Pradesh.

“We are given to suspect whether President’s rule has come into force in Andhra Pradesh what with the new governor trying to assume a serious role in administrative affairs in the wake of the ongoing political crisis,” senior TDP leader Nagam Janardhana Reddy said.

That the governor reviewed the law and order situation in the state immediately after assuming charge here yesterday has caused the suspicion, Nagam Reddy along with T Devender Goud, M Narasimhulu and others pointed out.
