TD objects to YSR holidaying

Hyderabad, July 11: The Telugu Desam today found fault with Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy for going on a week’ vacation in Goa at a time when the State was reeling under the impact of pressing problems.

Speaking to reporters here, party leader N Janardhan Reddy said the chief minister went on a jolly trip ignoring pressing problems like nonavailability of seeds, fertilisers and others.

Another leader K Yerran Naidu refuted the allegations of Finance Minister K Rosaiah against TDP the on the allegations of poaching of TDP leaders.

Rosaiah, instead of talking on politics, should concentrate on the State Budget.

The government was unable to spend the Rs 1 lakh crore budget last year but could spend only Rs 75,000 crore, he pointed out.

MLA A Revanth Reddy alleged that Lok Satta Party president Jayaprakash Narayan was helping the Congress. He alleged that Narayan had helped the Opposition before launching his party but was helping the ruling party now.
