Hyderabad, March 29: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will inaugurate its first learning and development centre for campus trainees here tomorrow.
The facility is equipped to train 6,000 professionals in a year. It will offer TCS” leading edge learning curriculum over three months to those who join the company directly from colleges, a TCS release said here today.
“The new Learning and Development Center reinforces the company”s leading role in the city”s rapidly growing IT industry,” it said.
The Mumbai-based IT giant continues to invest in the engineering talent from colleges in Andhra Pradesh. For 2011- 12, TCS has made employment offers to over 5,500 engineering students from 42 colleges in the state, the release said.
“TCS remains committed to the growth of IT sector in Andhra Pradesh. With over five global development centres (GDCs) functioning in the city and the second phase of Synergy Park being built, we continue to invest in the state both in terms of infrastructure and talent,” said V Rajanna, Vice- President, TCS.
