T-TDP leaders to launch indefinite fast

Hyderabad, Nov 5 (INN): The Telangana Telugu Desam Forum convenor Errabelli Dayakar Rao announced that they party leaders from the Telangana region would go on indefinite fast if the UPA Government fails to introduce Telangana Bill in the Parliament.

Addressing a press conference at NTR Trust Bhavan here on Saturday, Errabelli demanded that the Centre must not delay the process of Telangana formation in the name of consultations. He said that the statehood agitation has reached its peak in the region and people would not accept anything less than a separate Telangana. He said in view of the prevailing sentiments the Centre should introduce Telangana Bill in the ensuing winter session of the Parliament.

Errabelli also appealed that Congress and Telangana Rashtra Samithi support the statehood agitation launched by freedom fighter Konda Laxman Babpuji at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. (INN)
