Hyderabad: Tension prevailed when the Telangana employees staged a demonstration on knowing that the Kamalanathan Committee, which was looking at division of the Andhra and Telangana staff, postponed the division of the Andhra and Telangana staff. The Kamalanathan Committee meeting was abruptly put off due to Andhra Pradesh employees’ objections on the division of employees.
The Telangana employees went to third floor of D-Block and staged a demonstration. It may be recalled here that the Telangana employees were waiting for the last 18 months for the division of Secretariat employees. The Telangana employees were demanding that the Kamalanathan Committee see that the Telangana employees are not meted out injustice in the division process.
Speaking on the occasion, AP Secretariat Employees Association president MuraliKrishna has alleged that the attitude of Kamalanathan Committee was not proper. He said he would lodge a complaint with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and AP Chief Secretary SP Tucker in this regard. He expressed his concern over non-completion of division of employees though the government wants to shift the employees by June. (NSS)
