Life Circle Health Services, a Hyderabad based home nursing and professional care giving service provider, announced that it has raised an investment of USD 150,000 from GROUPE SOS, Europe’s leading senior healthcare service provider. The new lease of funds will help Life Circle deepen its services in the Hyderabad market as well as expand to the National Capital Region of India. Apart from investment, GROUPE SOS will also be sharing technical know how and International best practices with Life Circle.
Making the announcement, GROUPE SOS’ Founder and President Mr. Jean-Marc Borello said “We are very excited about joining a great Indian enterprise to develop home nursing services in India. GROUPE SOS has more than 30 years of experience in France where elder care health services are among the best in the world. Transferring both our daily experience in managing teams dedicated to home nursing and our training courses for caregivers will benefit Indian seniors and efficiently support their family.”
Speaking on the occasion, Founder and CEO of Life Circle, Mr. Anant Kumar said “We have provided more than 150,000 hours of professional care giving services so far. We differentiate our services by providing trained and verified caregivers, creating a seamless continuum of care, providing work related training and psychological counselling to caregivers to manage burnouts and providing flexible caregiver engagement to seniors.”
Mr. Srinivas Kollipara, Founder; COO of T-Hub, where Life Circle is being incubated, stated “India’s senior citizen population is growing rapidly. Almost 36 % of urban seniors above 60 are immobile. This reaches 60 % by the time seniors are over 70. There is a pressing need for professional home nursing and care giving services in India as family members are not able to take care alone of their loved ones. We at T-Hub are proud to support Life Circle and are glad that innovation in healthcare is growing in leaps and bounds.”
The fresh lease of funding will help Life Circle expand its operations beyond Hyderabad. The company will soon launch its services in New Delhi and aims to reach 20 cities in India by 2020. (NSS)
