Chennai, December 06: Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy today said he would soon move court seeking sanction to prosecute Union IT Minister A Raja under the Prevention of Corruption Act over allegations of irregularities in the 2G spectrum allocation.
Speaking to reporters here, Swamy, who has already sought Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s sanction to prosecute Raja under the PCA, said “I will give the Prime Minister one more notice to grant me sanction.”
Swamy, who has been demanding that the Madurai Airport be named after freedom fighter Muthuramalinga Thevar, which was turned down by the previous AIADMK government, said the present ruling DMK must immediately send its approval to the Centre on the matter.
The Janata Party along with BJP and others would hold protests across the state if the government failed to meet the demand, he added.
