Hyderabad: A Secunderabad based 20-year-old Engineering student was arrested by the sleuths of Cyber Crime Police of Rachakonda Commissionerate on Friday for posting uncovered photographs of a girl on Instagram.
The accused, Narra Akshay (20), a third-year Engineering student, was arrested based on the petition of girl’s mother; he allegedly posted two photoshoped, undressed images of girl by fake Instagram account. The victim didn’t responded to his messages later he created another account and started repeating the same act, the girl warned him not to do such activities as they use to be classmates upon which the suspect deleted the images.
Later, the victim informed her mother and a case was registered by the Cyber Crime Cell under section 354, 419, 201 of IPC and section 67 of the IT ACT. After collecting the technical evidence from the boy the police arrested him from his house.
It may be mentioned that the victim’s mother have lodged a complaint against the boy so that he could not repeat it and would not do such awful act with other girls.
